Inom några år kommer helikopter 9 (HKP 9) att börja avvecklas för att sedan möjligtvis säljas. Civilt heter helikoptertypen Eurocopter BO105-CB3.
Enligt Försvarets materielverk (FMV) så skall Försvarsmakten sluta operera med helikopter 9 (HKP 9) någon gång under 2010. Idag finns 14 stycken HKP 9 med reservdelar som då skall säljas om det finns något intresse. Dock så kan det vara svårt att få någon av maskinerna registrerade civilt då allt underhåll på helikoptrarna har genomförts under militära regelverk.
